Biography:
Dr. Isaacs is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and attended medical school
at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. He completed his
residency at Michigan State University through the GMEI program. Dr. Isaacs
also holds two masters degrees. He received a masters degree in Environmental
Health from the University of Cincinnati and he received a Masters in Business
from Central Michigan University. Among Dr. Isaacs many interests he works
extensively on end of life issues, palliative care, Alzheimer's disease, and
is very interested in the health of geriatric patients. His interest in medical
group management led naturally to the formation of Mid-Michigan Physicians,
P.C. in partnership with Dr. Cliff Hale.
Dr. Isaacs is a Clinical Instructor at Michigan State University, Medical
Director at Burcham Hills Retirement Center, and Medical Director at Eaton
County Medical Care facilities. Dr. Isaacs is actively involved in the
American Medical Directors Association -- an organization that specializes in
long-term care of frail elderly patients.
Dr. Isaacs is married, has two daughters one son, and one grandchild. His
wife, Carol is a retired nurse and attorney. Dr. Isaacs is also an avid
golfer, loves gardening, and enjoys the mountains of North Carolina whenever
he and his wife can get away.
